My keys to success are regular exercise, stretching, and staring deep into someone’s soul until they give in to my demands.
My name comes from the neighborhood in Washington, D.C. where my mommies first lived together. My nickname is ‘Roo’!
My hidden talents include howling, getting others to get up and give me my spot on the couch, stretching out across the entire width of the bed, and throwing shade.
Tenley rescued her humans in 2010 when she moved from the wilds of North Carolina to Boston. Much to her surprise, she found the climate here delightful - most likely given her mix of shepherd and husky.
Tenley is quite the outdoorswoman – she has hiked the White Mountains, swam in the Atlantic, learned to skateboard, stand up paddleboard, kayak, and run in human road races. Although faster than her humans, she still hasn’t caught the greyhounds she tries to outrun at the dog park. Tenley’s mommies plan to write a children’s book about all her adventures.
Due to the demands of her active lifestyle, Tenley is only available for telephone consultations.
